What to expect when you visit
You won't see Pastor Karen & others getting a pie in the face each week, but you will find our church to be very informal. Our worship services blend traditional hymns with praise choruses. The coffee & tea are always brewing for fellowship and a snack or two, before and after worship at 10:45 and during small groups.
We have a small congregation of approximately 35, with approximately 15-20 people attending weekly--from children to senior citizens--however, we do not let small numbers stop us from making a difference in our community and around the world.
We are joined in ministry with the Illinois Great Rivers Conference of the United Methodist Church, Leslie Bates Neighborhood House, Midwest Distribution Center, Africa University, Fairview Heights Food Pantry, The Salvation Army and Catholic Urban Programs, plus other outreaches.
